Ajmer is just 130 km. away from Jaipur. It is also a
very popular tourist attraction. Ajmer is famous for its artificial lake Ana
Sagar Lake and Ajmer Sharif Dargah. In 16th century Mughal Emperor Akber built
a palace here which houses the Ajmer Government Museum. Ajmer is a popular
tourist place for both Hindus and Muslims. Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan
Chishti is the most important destination of Islamic pilgrimage and visited by
both Hindus and Muslims. It is
surrounded by Aravalli Mountains.
7.ANA SAGAR LAKE -AJMER SHARIF
Pushkar is only 15km. away from Ajmer and is another
famous tourist destination. It is a famous and a sacred place for Hindus. The
only temple of Lord Brahma is situated in Pushkar. During the month of Karthik
(Oct. and Nov.) large number of Hindus take a holy dip in the Lake of Pushkar 52
Ghats. Pushkar Mela (fair) is world famous. Pushkar lake is the most prominent
spot of pilgrimage and is a site of Pushkar Mela too. Pushkar is encircled by
numerous temples and ghats.
8.PUSHKAR 52 GHATS
REACH AND STAY:
A very convenient move from Delhi to Jaipur, Ajmer and
Pushkar can be made either by air or by road. From Delhi airport domestic
flights are available to Jaipur International Airport Sanganer. By road rental
