nacre. Most pearls typically take anywhere between two to four years to

formed when an irritant works its way into a particular species of Oyster.
10.CORALS: Beautiful corals are found under the sea of Andaman
and Nicobar Islands. Corals are dead living organisms in the ocean that form
reefs. These are the hardened skeleton of sea animals and insects for thousands
of years. Corals are the Marine Resources and are under protection of 1991Act. Coral reefs protect coastlines from
storms and erosion, provide jobs for local communities, and offer
opportunities for recreation. They are also are a source of food and new
