READING MAKES A MAN PERFECT- SIR FRANCIS BACON has rightly said so as the Reading  nourishes the intellect and nurtures the imagination .Reading takes you to a new world of  a new view and a new vision. Its only the Reading that introduces  you to a new culture and  new people.

Reading fills your mind with a lot of knowledge to a variety of subjects and topics. Intensive and    Extensive Reading gives us ideas and inspire us to lead a rich life. We grow with a lot of information. We grow by Reading from our childhood to old age and during all these ages we have a variety of literature to go through from fairy tales to fiction .In fact we grow by Reading only may it be a moral story or an adventure story, to the stories of discoveries and inventions .No doubt we become Perfect with knowledge, with morals, with spirituality and with facts and imaginations.                                         

                            

Thus Reading Nourishes the Intellect and Nurtures the Imagination . All the books contain the ideas and thoughts of great experienced and knowledgeable people. From children to grown ups think and experience great with them .We are with the authors when we read their work which enable us to think with them. 

VARIOUS STAGES OF  READING

FIRST STAGE:

Good Readers start early rather they are raised as Reader from the very beginning by their        mothers. Mothers sing Lullaby when they are in Cradles later they are told Stories on a daily basis. Among these FAIRIES TALES  are very popular next comes ANIMALS PICTURE STORIES .It has been rightly said that if you want to raise a Reader, be a Reader .In this first stage you can read any book to the child your sound and voice will leave unique impact on  his brain. 

SECOND STAGE: 

This is the stage when a child enjoys looking at colorful books with pictures and words, turns to the Television for cartoons .The visuals and the sound of the characters .This is the stage when  he involves with all his senses to the world of literature. Jungle Animals, Princess and  Witches  Caterpillars to Butterflies ,Go to Bed, Garden Day, Bake Mice Bake ,We Like Kites and morals like Don't bit the suspicious apple, Don't eat the candy , Never trust a  stranger , Evils of Witches and the Step Mothers ETC.

 

THIRD STAGE:  

The third stage unfolds the child's imagination .He shares the stories of the Warrior ,Comics, Moral   Stories ,Cinderella , Sleeping Beauty, Spiderman , Alice in Wonderland, Uncle Scrooge,  Superman. You will be having a feeling of nostalgia. NOW THE ACTUAL READING STARTS.

FOURTH STAGE:

This is the stage of a reader where he learns and stores new ideas to gain knowledge. He experiences  and explores from his reading. At this stage he becomes fluent and develops as a  comprehending reader. The diary of Anne Frank, Black Beauty, Little Women, Harry Potter Series, The Jungle Book, Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver in Lilliput Etc. helps him to develop his Reading skills.

FIFTH STAGE: 

Last but not the least is the stage of reading where reading becomes passion and now the reader starts reading complex subjects related to the cognitive development. He reads narratives with  variety  of view points. .He reads books of adventure, crime , thrills, science fiction, mystery, Etc.and there is no ending to Reading fifth stage onwards . At this stage one starts reading the great writers like James Hadley Chase,Virginia Woolf  ,Agatha Christie, Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown, Arthur Canon Doyle etc.
