In today’s world there is an acute desire of all to look attractive so it becomes natural to maintain oneself naturally. Those who are cautious of applying chemicals always go for natural ingredients to enhance their beauty. There are many beauty products which have side effects but if we use some natural ingredients to enhance our beauty it will be safe and will also cost low as it is easily available and affordable too.
Before mentioning a few of the natural ingredients to
enhance our beauty it will be fair to mention here a few habits that can help
you to maintain healthy and beautiful skin:
1.Wash your face and moisturize skin regularly.
2.Get 6-7 hours sleep.
3.Go for a walk and exercise daily.
4.Drink plenty of water.
5.As far as possible avoid junk food, spicy food and
oily food.
6.Consume fruits, green leafy vegetables, curd and
milk.
The following are a few tips to keep your skin and
hair beautiful and healthy using natural ingredients which are easily available
at home:
1.TURMERIC POWDER AND CURD FOR SKIN ONLY
Turmeric powder is one of the most important skin whitening ingredients described in Ayurveda, known to reduce darkness of the skin and gives a glow to the skin. It’s safe to use and can be applied on face for 20-30 minutes. Turmeric powder can be mixed with curd and a paste can be made to apply on the face. Once in a month take half cup of curd and two spoon of turmeric mix well to form a paste apply and let it sit until it dries rinse off and moisturize.You can also apply a spoon of curd with two pinches of turmeric every day to nourish and supple skin.
2.LEMON JUICE AND GRAM FLOUR FOR SKIN ONLY
Lemon juice is an excellent source of vitamin C and is an antioxidant. Lemon juice is antifungal and skin lightening. It reduces skin damages and also reduces oil out of skin. It makes skin glow and beautiful. Lemon-juice can be mixed with gram flour and a thick paste can be made to apply on the face for 20-30 minutes. Wash the mixture with warm water and cold water and moisturize the skin. Gram flour exfoliates dead skin reduces oiliness and fights acne. Take Half cup of Gram flour ,1-2 spoon of lemon juice mix well with milk or required quantity of water make a thick paste to apply on face,neck, arms, feet and hands.
3.GRAM FLOUR, TURMERIC POWDER AND CURD FOR SKIN ONLY
We have already read the benefits of gram flour, turmeric powder and curd to enhance beauty. These three ingredients can be used all together also. Take half or required quantity of gram flour 1-2 spoon of turmeric powder and mix well in a cup of curd make paste and apply on face, hands, feet, neck and let it sit for 30 minutes and wash it off with warm water and then cold water your skin will glow. This process can be implemented once in a month for beautiful skin. On regular bases paste of two spoons can be made to apply twice in a week also to brighten the skin beauty.
Coconut- oil is good for both skin and hair. It nourishes the skin and hair and imparts a glow and shine. Coconut- oil protects our hair strands against damage from heat, styling, curling irons and sun. Coconut- oil forms a layer of protection to our hair it increases volume, helps against graying, adds luster to our hair and above all moisturizes the scalp. Coconut oil prevents hair of dandruff, soothes scalp irritation. When added vitamin E to it , it becomes even better for skin. Coconut -oil with vitamin E hydrates skin. It can be used after shaving and even for massage. It’s a great antioxidant. Coconut- oil with vitamin E provides hair and skin relaxation and hydration. In enhancing beauty coconut oil with vitamin E is a great natural ingredient.
5.BOILED RICE WATER AND VITAMIN E FOR SKIN AND HAIR BOTH
Women in China, Japan and Southeast Asia have used rice water as a treatment for hair and skin for ages. Rice -water has scientifically proven the benefits to hair and skin. Rice water is starchy water, left in the boiling rice and makes hair smooth and straight. Rice- water or starch makes hair shine and glow. Rice- water contains amino acid, vitamin B, Vitamin E, minerals and antioxidants. If added vitamin E to it, it becomes even more effective for hair as well as for skin. Take a cup of starch of rice, add one vitamin E capsule to it and apply and leave it for an hour or so wash it off and find the difference.
Henna powder has a wonderful benefit for long and
lustrous tresses means hair. Henna promotes hair growth, repairs hair damages,
adds color to hair and above all it is a natural conditioner for hair. Amla
powder is grounded Indian gooseberry it is used in Aurvedic medicine and when
added to henna it gives a different color to it. Amla-powder improves tone of
henna powder. A paste of henna is made and amla powder is added to it (take one
cup of henna powder and only one spoon of amla powder) better soak it in an
iron pan overnight so it changes its color to black, with gloved hands you can
apply it all over your hair and leave it for two hours or so and rinse it well
with fresh water. Fresh beetroot juice before applying it if added to it gives
a different shine to your hair. Amla powder, henna and beetroot are the natural
ingredients to enhance beauty to your hair.
7.INDIGO, OIL AND VITAMIN E FOR HAIR ONLY
Indigo is a natural hair dye. Indigo is used to replace artificial hair dye. It is a plant-based powder and is gentle for hair but it soaks the moisture of hair for that always soak it in either mustard oil or coconut oil and add to it vitamin E one or two capsule oil. Unlike henna it gives darker shade to hair. Soak indigo power and can apply instantly and let it sit on your hair for an hour or two. Frequent use is recommended.
